Dayton prides itself with a rich history of invention and novelty. Perhaps the most notorious innovators to hail from the area were the Wright Brothers. They may be renowned for their Kitty Hawk flight, but the subsequent months and years of flight-testing were largely conducted off a local cow pasture known as Huffman Prairie, a few miles outside Dayton.
